God can have you catch up to where you need to be

“Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.”

Matthew 14:22-25

In this chapter of scripture we see that Jesus had just finished feeding the five thousand.

And once he finished he told his disciples to continue on while he goes up to the mountain to pray

When Jesus finished praying he was aware of how far the boat was for his disciples to turn around and come back to get him.

It was also a major storm

This is when Jesus caught up to the boat by walking on the water.

It’s important for us to spend that alone time we need with God

I know our daily lives can have us busy because we have so much to do

Or if you’re pursuing your own business

But Jesus gives us the example that God will catch you up to where you are supposed to be in life.

When we have a lot to do and become more successful, we forget to add that time in with God because we don’t want to get behind on something.

But God will never allow us to fall behind, especially if we are giving our time to him.

If you’re out there and you feel like you are behind or feel like you have to much to do

Add spending some alone time with God on your schedule

I’m not talking about just going to church

But taking a time out everyday to spend with God

You won’t be behind for long.

God will catch you up to where you need to be

Just trust the plans that he has for you and you’ll be right back on schedule.

Jesus connection with God gave him the ability to do the impossible

Which was to walk on water

God will have you do things that you think are impossible to catch you up to where you need to be in life.

The Bible says

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33

Seeking the kingdom first will add the things to your life that you need to be where you should in life.

Allow God to lead you

And be willing to follow him.
