““Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14
There are two roads that each of us has chosen to go the pathway on.
Notice I said chosen
In this chapter in Matthew, it talks about 2 roads
One that leads to destruction
One that leads to life
We have a choice each day to decide what road we are going to continue to live our life walking down
In my life I was on that road that led to life.
I can honestly say that it is only a few people on that road because some people don’t find it to be the fun road
I eventually found myself detouring to the road of destruction
On that road I found a lot more people there
Thinking it would help build me but all it did was break me down a little at a time
We sometimes think we need to be on the road with everyone else
But God tells us to be separated for a reason
You can still live a fun protected life on the road to life
Because on the road of destruction is really going to break you down
You will begin to see how much people you thought cared really don’t
The Great thing about God is that when we make that decision to follow him
He guides us back on that road to life
You’re never too far to be made new
But you must be willing to be led by God
I found myself on track, off track, and now back on track all because of God’s Grace and Mercy.
If I wasn’t strong enough, the path of destruction would have destroyed me
Don’t take a detour on God when he has already made that promise to you
Just be patient and know that he is with you.
