Put God first in all that you do

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33 KJV

What does it look like to put God first?

I know many times we see this scripture in Matthew and wonder

Lord, what must I do to put you first in my life?

Seeking the kingdom of God to some can be a challenge

We know the saying “actions speak louder than words”

Why is it such a challenge to allow my actions to follow what my words say?

Because, what we do on a daily has become an habit.

We forget to include God in our daily routine.

We tend to only want to seek God when things are going wrong in our life

We have to come to a realization that your faith in God can increase in a good season as well as a bad season

Put seeking God in your daily routine and you will begin to see how prepared you are for your day.

Here’s what you can do to seek the kingdom:

Pray

Read the word of God

Fast and pray

Just being able to have communication with God , he will begin to show you the big part you play in his kingdom.

I know through the day we may be too busy and tend to forget

But if you make it a habit, you won’t forget

If you read God’s word and pray in the morning it gives you that confidence and preparation for the day

Seek the kingdom

Make it apart of your daily routine

Make it a priority
